PocketAudio (Microphone) 3.0

PocketAudio allows you to utilize your iOS device as a wireless microphone for your computer. This application, available for both Windows and Mac operating systems, functions as a virtual audio device on your computer. By speaking into your iOS device, you can capture or record audio using various applications such as Windows Live Messenger, Skype, AIM, or Yahoo.

It is important to note that there may be a network delay between your computer and iOS device, making PocketAudio unsuitable for scenarios where real-time transmission is crucial.

Instructions

1. If you have not done so already, download and install the PocketControl software for Windows or Mac from the official website.
2. On Windows, launch PocketControl for Windows and ensure that the SensticPocketService is running. On Mac, open PocketControl from the applications folder.
3. Connect your iOS device to your home Wi-Fi network.
4. Launch PocketAudio on your iPhone, allowing it to automatically connect to your computer. A message displaying "Connected to your_computer_name:port" should appear at the bottom of your iPhone screen.
5. Configure your preferred Windows/Mac program to recognize PocketAudio as the audio input device.

Limitations

• PocketAudio is compatible with Windows XP or later versions and Mac OS X 10.7 or higher. Mac OS X 10.6 or any earlier versions are not supported.
• Due to network delays, real-time transmission should not be expected when using PocketAudio.
